We at Hot Springs Health Program know that you are concerned about the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We want to assure you that we are here to support our community’s health needs during this very trying time. We continue to monitor the coronavirus outbreak, actively following guidance and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Madison County Health Department.
At this time, when you call any of our medical centers to schedule an appointment, our staff will be asking you a series of screening questions. Also, we have staff screeners located at the entrance of each of our medical centers. They will be asking screening questions when you arrive at your appointment. In addition to asking these questions, they will be assessing your temperature. Based on the screener’s assessment, you may be instructed to see one of our providers at one of our other medical centers. We are trying to isolate patients who may have a respiratory illness to our Mashburn Medical Center. Mars Hill Medical Center, Laurel Medical Center and Hot Springs Medical Center will continue to see patients who do not have any respiratory illness symptoms. All of our pharmacies remain open. If you have any concerns about picking up your medications, please call one of our pharmacies. The continued good health of our providers and staff is vital during this pandemic. In order to allow providers and staff time to recover during this demanding time as well as to allow the medical centers to be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized we will be closing all centers at 5:00 pm. Hot Springs Health Programs Outpatient Therapy (Physical Therapy) and Madison Home Care and Hospice are open and serving patients.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this healthcare crisis. As events unfold we may be forced to make further operational changes. We will strive to keep our patients informed of any changes.
